![]() Arcades are ok if you have small children Food is excellent! we had a chippy, sausage and chips and it was a good portion Shops are well stocked too, so cant fault all that. The pool onsite is superb, but leave valuables at home, lockers are £1, but you get it back. On the whole, more sockets are needed, a better use of wasted space needed, coffee table needed, and maybe stairgates to stop children and dogs escaping. The sofas stank everytime you sat on them, a waft of dog hit you. There is a table and 4 chairs, but with 6 of you, 2 have to sit on the sofas and there is no coffee table to put drinks on. No storage for food or bread except for a single cupboard which had the electricty meter in. The fridge is standard with a small freezer compartment, inside the fridge door (where you put milk etc) was broken, so it kept falling out! The cooker had seen better days, and probably went out with the dark ages if im honest, it took ages for the hotplates to get warm enough to fry an egg!, the toast was where the kettle was, and again only one socket, so you couldnt make a cuppa and toast at the same time. The kitchen isnt well designed, as kept hitting our heads ont he cupboard above the fridge. we went and bought air freshners which did dampen the smell down a bit. ![]() Theres also a heated towel rail, which was brilliant. No storage in there or shelving for toothbrushes etc, you had to have it all sitting on the sink. Bathroom, was spacious with shower (was brilliant), sink and toilet. Third bedroom had bunk beds, again with drawers and was a reasonable size with one socket. The 2nd room had twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a double socket, this was the much better room and was bigger and quieter. It was awful, it was like staying at an RSPCA dog kennels! You could tell when someone was walking past as the dog in the end apartment started barking, and that would set the rest of them of in all the other apartments! (yes including ours) The main bedroom didnt have drawers, just a wardrobe, there was only one socket so you could only have one appliance plugged in at a time, you had small bedside tables, but they had holes drilled in them where the lamps go, so they were pretty useless for putting a cup of tea on! The main bedroom is at the front, and is so noisy, from people in the apartments with verandas and patio doors, they sit out side until 2am drinking and smoking. This year, we stayed in a pet friendly apartment, as there was no pet friendly caravans available. We've been many times before but always stayed in pet friendly caravans as we take our dog.
